Avni and her friends are busy dancing and celebrating. A lady was there and asks the men at meeting that we must concentrate upon it. Bhavna tells Suket she is going to market to gets medicine for Arpita. He asks what happened. Bhavna says nothing serious and she will be alright. Akshat thinks his mother doesn’t want to tell anyone about the news yet. Raj thinks Avni is chilled and won’t mind if he didn’t go with her. He hears a voice saying didn’t she know what she wanted. Raj says he wanted she enjoys with her friends and wanted to give her independence. The voice says she wanted to enjoy with him too, and ask his heart about the answers. Raj thinks he is right. Avni thinks about Raj in the party, when she gets Raj’s call; she is just thinking he should have been here. She tells Raj that the party is rocking, and she is enjoying much. She points to the DJ to increase the voice. They all go to dance. They lady asks Mr. Gupta to lower the voice, as an important meeting is going on inside. He comes inside, and upon Avni’s asking he tells her Mrs. Anjali’s meeting is going on. Avni is please finds out that Mrs Anjali is outside having an important meeting as Mrs Anjali's meeting seems to be getting disturbed because of the music from the party and heads to go inside, but the guard stops her that it is VIP section and there are strict orders about not disturbing her. Avni thinks what is the magnitude of her being a VIP and if she can’t go to meet her she will call her here. She decides to anyhow meet Anjali and tells the DJ to increase the colume and continues to keep the music loud. Mr. Gupta comes inside again, Avni argues that they are partying. Mr. Gupta says that she should go to Mrs. Anjali to take her permission. Avni gets ready and Finally meets Anjali. She stands up and asks if she is the one who increased the volumes, Avni says she has been trying to contact her and meet her but she is as busy and is spending her money as to take time for simple people. Avni says that she wants her not to accept the investors Mrs. Gupta’s proposal. Mrs. Anjali asks why so? Avni tries to discuss about the investors with Anjali and says that they have investments at her father’s business. Mrs. Gupta asks so why does she accept what she is telling her to and she should leave. Avni says she won’t leave, as she has no right to talk to her like this. Mrs. Anjali then speaks rudely with her that she is just a non-sensible girl to give her such orders and does not listen to her. Avni then has an argument with the one and only Anjali and asks what is important to her, only money; but for her father reputation matters as well as earning good money. Mrs. Anjali asks if she think she earned all the business money with wrong means. Mrs. Anjali asks the men to leave and heads to leave by herself.
Akshat waited for Arpita, she comes downstairs and slips. Akshat holds her asking that she would have hurt his child and says he knows she is feeling nauseatic. She says that this is the end of selfishness; he didn’t care if she had fallen. Arpita reveals to him that she isn't pregnant, she had dehydration. Arpita says that this shows his true color, that he is not only selfish but irresponsible too. He don’t love her anymore. Avni comes home, Raj is in the lawn waiting for her while Avni is in a bad mood. He says that her face tells him she is still angry. She says she don’t want to argue. He apologize to her that he denied coming to party with her. He shows her a hand with Sorry, another with Smile. Avni smiles weakly. Avni says today was a bad day and that business woman said a lot to her. Raj asks who she was?. She tells him to leave her, but regrets saying all what she did to her. Raj says that she might not meet that lady again, ever. Madhuri asks Jashan about her mom, they discuss no one can know when she will come. Jashan says she must have talked to Raj. Mrs. Anjali comes home and things take an unexpected turn when it turns out that Mrs. Anjali is Raj and Madhuri's mother saying she didn’t talk to anyone. Anjali meets Madhuri and Jashan and feels very happy meeting them. Madhuri hugs her, Mrs. Anjali asks for a glass of water as a bad-tempered girl spoilt her mood. She tells them that the Jaipur girls are so ill mannered and she doesn’t even want to talk about that girl. She asks for her grand-daughter. Pooja meets her. Mrs. Anjali tells her to call her Anji and she will call her Poo. She kisses her, and asks about the small devil. Jashan tells her he has gone to meet Avni.
Raj comes to hug his mom from back. She shouts at him to leave her but he doesn’t. He is excited to meet her, hugs her and spoils her hair. She returns the spoil to him. She asks for the coffee, he calls Jashan to get coffee for her. He makes her sit on bed, and asks why she wear these high heels. She says she knows there is someone at home who will give her a good massage and that she is eager to meet Avni. Raj shows her Avni’s photo; she had closed her eyes and says she doesn’t want to see the photo but want to meet her. Madhuri comes that tomorrow is the best day to meet Avni. Jashan and Raj teases Madhuri for making the coffee. Raj and Madhuri hug her.
Akshat tells his father that he tried to ask for Mrs. Anjali’s appointment, but he couldn’t get it. Raj's mother Anjali calls up Avni's house and tells Bauji to take his appointment telling him she is Raj’s mom and she decides to meet Avni and her parents as early as possible. Bauji says she can come today. At the breakfast table, Madhuri says that she cooked special breakfast for her. She asks Jashan couldn’t she get her better breakfast, teasing Madhuri. Mrs. Anjali says she dislikes women working only at home, Madhuri can keep a cook. She tells them to hurry now with the breakfast and go to Avni’s place. Bhavna prepares for the welcome, Bauji asks where Avni is. She tells him she is preparing Halwa for her mother-in-law to be. Abhay and Arpita tease Avni that Raj’s mom cannot taste or smell, and is strict by nature. Bhavna scolds them to be quiet and tells Avni to go and change.
Arpita and Abhay laughs as Avni leaves the kitchen. Bhavna watches as Avni comes dressed up, Bauji asks her to take blessings from the Govind ji and she runs to get the Tulsi leaves she forgot. Bhavna prays for Avni. Avni is in the garden when Anjali reaches Avni's house along with Raj and others, Avni tries to see who has come here and gets shocked and worried when she sees Mrs Anjali. She thinks if she is here to complain to her dad about her. Raj comes out of the car, and calls out to his Mom and says this is Avni’s house. Raj takes her inside, everyone gives them decent reception. Bauji introduces everyone to her. Savri says that everyone at their home takes God’s blessings; Mrs. Anjali says she believe in God but doesn’t follow the traditional ways. They all accept her ideas, she gives them the gifts. Mrs. Anjali says that she heard a lot about Avni, and wants to meet her soon. Arpita says she will get her.
Avni is worried in the room as she realizes that Mrs Anjali is Raj's mother, Arpita makes fun of her and tries to console her. Avni says the way she behaves to her and Abhay will prove to be right that she is going to be strict to her. Arpita asks her to hurry up and goes back.
Mrs. Anjali tells them that she doesn’t really know cooking. Savri says that Madhuri inherited this weakness from her. She says when she found out how good she is at business; she put all her energy there. Arpita serves sweet to them, she apologizes that she won’t have fried things. She asks for the green-tea. She appreciates Arpita’s ear rings. Bhavna says she designed them herself. Mrs. Anjali is impress and says Arpita should start a career in it. She asks Raj about Avni. Avni comes inside to meet Mrs Anjali with a veil around her face in order to hide from her. Everyone is shocked to see her this way. Her hands were shivering. Raj says his mom doesn’t accept all this and she should remove her veil. She hands her the cup of green-tea, she tells her to relax. Avni heads to leave, but Bhavna stops her. Mrs. Anjali calls Avni from the back and comes to her. She says that Raj is her son, and wants to marry her and why shouldn’t they start looking at each other as they will have to see one another after she get married too. Anjali asks her to remove her veil, and then removes the veil from Avni's face and gets surprised seeing her there, who is worried. Bhavna comes there, and asks Avni to say Namastay. Bhavna calls them all to sit.
Savri serves her what Avni had prepared for her. She tastes it, and says it is quite spicy like Avni. Madhuri asks for the meaning. She says she should have understand it. She asks Avni to tell something about her, Bhavna says that Avni is really calm. Anjali asks if she is really a calm person and also ask if she like loud music? Bhavna says nothing is loud at their place, neither music nor dressing. Mrs. Anjali says that they should now remove the curtain over the things. Bhavna qualifies that Avni is nervous. Bauji suggests they should leave them alone, he tells Avni to take her to the room and show her her room. Mrs. Anjali stands to go along with her. They come to the room. Avni address her as Aunty and also apologize to her that she didn’t know she is Raj’s mom and are elder. She says that she was talking so abruptly yesterday. Anjali is please that she is allow to speaks to Avni separately and tells her to shut up, she will ask a question from her and wants her answer as yes or no. She says that whatever she said to her yesterday and asks her if she still considers her decision regarding the investor’s right or think her dealing with the investors wrong. Avni sticks to her earlier decision with a Yes, and tries to explain. Hearing her says yes, Anjali gets angry and says she got her answers, and leaves the room.
Raj tells Bauji that his mother seems strict but is soft as wax. Savri says that their Avni will win their heart whatsoever. Mrs. Anjali come downstairs and she is in a bad mood. She asks Bauji not to label them as mother and daughter-in-law, she thanks them for anything and asks her children to go home. Suket asks what is wrong and why is she leaving so soon. She asks him to speak to his daughter, Avni about it and walks out of Avni's house. Bahvna asks Avni what is all this? Avni says she hurt her and reveal that it wasn’t her first meeting her and that she is Mrs. Anjali to whom her dad investors went. She went to talk to her; and tell them about all the events between them. On the other hand, Raj’s mom is angry and says that the girl spoiled everything. She adds that she can’t forgive Avni anyway. She reveals to everybody about her first encounter with Avni and tells Raj to go tell Avni this. Raj gets nervous seeing his mother angry and asks Madhuri to ask their mother, Madhuri says that once mom takes a decision she doesn’t listen to anyone and she can’t help him. Avni gets Raj’s call, he is sad. She apologize to him. Raj says it is too late, as his mom said she won’t like Avni as his wife. Her dignity and self-respect is most important for her. Avni drops the cell phone.
Savri says that she didn’t like Raj’s mom at all. Bhavna argues that this isn’t what they taught their daughter and the mistake was on their part. She asks Bauji to go ask for her apology. Meanwhile, Avni, who have decides to make efforts to win Anjali's heart comes there, and says that she did the mistake, and will solve it herself. She has Raj’s example, and will work hard to win their hearts. Raj comes and says he is with her. Suket and Bauji support the idea. Avni feels happy when she gains the support of Raj and thanks him for helping out; she asks how would she talk to her and asks if she can cook something. Raj asks Avni to prepare a famous traditional dish and suggests she should cook that ‘Daal Baati’; they both go inside. Bhavna asks for help, but Avni says she don’t want any cheating in her test and will prepares it for Raj's mother. She and Raj work together, to prepare the Daal Baati. Raj tries one and says there is something missing in it, one taste is missing. They both try to recall that it was lemon. Raj says it is perfect now. Bhavna comes to taste it, Raj offers her one. She takes a bite and says it is even better than her. Avni says it can’t be better than her referring to her mother, Bhavna and asks Raj to take it to his mom.
The investors thanked Mrs. Anjali to be invited on lunch. Mrs. Anjali is shocked to see them, and comes to ask what they are doing here. Avni says she won’t say much as she has already said what wasn’t needed. She says she loves Raj a lot and tells her to please forgive her. Mrs. Anjali asks do you want to say everything goes well between them. She says she brought Daal Baati for her. She acts, as to keep it in the kitchen. Mrs. Anjali agrees. Savri Bua tries to bribe Pooja's mother and hand her the money. She tells her to go to Madhuri and ask for Pooja. They lady asks her for another five lac till the evening next day. Savri is taken aback and gets furious when Pooja's mother asks her for money to do her work. She comes back without saying anything. Suket and Bhavna come to Raj’s house. Bhavna asks if it look awkward they came here without invitation. Suket says that Avni came here alone and they will help her.
