Avni asks Raj how will the married live be. Raj says it will be like a song. Avni asks which song. Raj and Avni were in garden and are eagerly waiting for their married life to begin. They discuss that there married life will be like a shining star to the lovers. Raj sings a song for them in which all their married life is depicted. They both get married, the life afterwards, Avni caring for him, they have a baby, their children grow up, their children’s birthday, their hair growing grey, their children getting married, they both being together in the old age. Avni says how beautiful their married life will be, she is anxiously waiting to get married. Bauji takes a diary from the wardrobe and calls someone. A lady picks up the call, he introduces himself and tells her that her granddaughter is getting married, and he wants to invite her. The lady says that she has no grand-daughter. Bauji says this is, Sangeeta’s daughter. The lady angrily tells him that Sangeeta is dead for them. Savri asks Arpita the reason to be late in breakfast. Meanwhile, at the dining table Akshat tells everybody that Arpita has made a decision to work as a jewellery designer and adds that she slept late at night, as she was designing jewellery. Savri asks what is this new thing. Akshat says this is what he have been saying that how will she help mother in the house? Arpita tells them that his mom instead boosted her courage by saying that it is a good step, one must never waste her talent; and she will handle the house-hold. Bauji says to Akshat that Arpita is educated and is talented too, she must work. Akshat gets shocked when he finds out that Arpita had already taken permission from his mother and everybody supports her decision. Bhavna says she is sure Arpita will handle all the work. They hear car’s horn, Arpita takes blessings from everyone. Akshat comes to his room and says that she had already taken permission from everyone, and didn’t expect his permission. She leaves saying permission is taken from those who have a broad mind and listen to the other person.
Raj comes to Suket’s cabin. Suket stands up, Raj is shocked and is surprised to see Suket behaving very nicely with him and also speaks to him respectly. Raj says he came to give him file, Suket asks Raj to call him 'father' instead of referring to him as sir and asks if he have something to do here. Raj says he come here to take training from him, sir. Suket forbids him again to call him sir, and says that he is the son-in-law to be and how can he work here. Raj is confused, and says he asks his brother in-law to talked to him and he gave this permission himself; and asks what should he call him. He says he should call him what Abhay calls him. Raj thinks aloud how can he call him “Raigistan ka shair”- the lion of sand. Suket smiles saying he will see Abhay and asks Raj to call him what Avni calls him. Raj then says father? He smiles, nodding. Raj says he has one request and asks Suket not to call him respectfully. Suket asks why doesn’t he work with his dad, as he has a lot of cement plants. Raj says he is quite different and he doesn’t want him to work so soon. The peon brings two lunch-boxes- one for Raj and one for Suket. He tells him Avni sent this. Raj calls Avni, she asks if he eat and was it cooked alright. Raj asks why she sent it, he don’t eat lunch. Avni says that this is why she sent it, so that he make a habit of having lunch. They argue upon doing lunch or not. Bhavna calls Avni and she hangs on.
Some ladies bring Teej gifts for Bhavna. Avni serves tea. The ladies appreciate the tea, Bhavna says Avni made it. The lady begins telling about a proposal, Bhavna tells them they have found one- and it is Raj. The ladies ask if it the same guy who take care of everyone in Akshat’s wedding and that he is a very hardworking guy. Still at Avni's home, Madhuri comes to give sweets to Avni's family and announces her husband prepared all the sweets. The ladies ask she should have prepared them. Savri says that in their house, food is cooked by men and the guests in the house insult Madhuri as she cannot cook food and also comment that she didn’t find a match in the family and had to marry a Sardar. They ask Avni to think again, as she will have to do the cookings. Avni stands up seeing this and defends Madhuri and scolds the guests as she is her sister in law. Pooja comes to carrese Madhuri. The ladies stand up and ask why they don’t say anything to their daughter. Bauji, who is listening to all this say he doesn’t want them to stay any further and disrespect their relatives to be. Savri Bua begins to shout at Madhuri that this all happened because of her, but just then Pooja calls her a bad aunty as she disrespect her mummy. Hearing this, Savri Bua feels disheartened, she cries in the room that she love Pooja so much and that Madhuri is making her go against her. She calls someone and asks what did they find till today, she asked him for one thing and he couldn’t do it right and he couldn’t find Pooja’s mother. The person on phone tells her they have found her. Savri says she boast of being a mother and now to see what she do to her. Suket comes home with Raj. Bhavna says she will get more tea, but Avni says she will get the tea for him. Raj says he won't take the tea, but Avni says he must be tired. She gets the tea for Raj, he drinks it and asks for sugar. She says no. He says there is less sugar, but Avni says sugar is not good for health. Suket looks at Bhavna and she points to him to leave them alone. He leaves.
Avni asks Raj how his day was. He asks why is she being so formal and reminds her that their relation got a new name, but they should remain same. Avni says holding hands doesn’t seem right now. Raj is shocked. Pratab and Arpita also come from the office, Pratab says he has got the best sweets of town. Raj says they should give it to his dad referring to Suket, but Suket says they should give it to Raj. Raj takes the sweet. Arpita says she has done the complain for fridge, Raj asks what happened to it, he will check into it. Bhavna says no he can’t do it, and he must be comfortable. Arpita heads for kitchen, he offers to her help in dinner but she says she can’t take his help. Raj asks why are they all behaving like this? Suket says he is going to be their son in-law now. Raj says that he is a friend, a brother, a trainee before and that they can’t snatch those relations from him. He begins eating the sweet again. Suket scolds him to eat properly and asks if he doesn’t know how to eat. Bhawna orders him to see the fridge before. Arpita asks him to come with some new recipes. Suket scolds him to go now. He stands up. They all laugh, Suket says this is what he wanted. He looks at the smiling Avni.
Raj thinks Avni has changed a lot. Avni comes out, Raj asks what does the lady wants? She says they are still the same, but now their relation has changed; they have turned from boyfriend and girlfriend to fiance’s and soon be married. She says now she will have to behave as her parents would want her to. They celebrate the Pooja, Bhavna tells Savri to fill the oil in candle. Savri says that Arpita will look into all the work. Avni says that Arpita has an important meeting. Akshat asks if she will go the meeting or celebrate festival? Bhavna says that she can go and will return after attending the meeting. Arpita says that she will take care of the candle as well, as she has to prepare for the meeting. Raj calls Avni and asks why is she awake so late at night. Avni says today is Janmashtmi, so they were doing Pooja. Suket comes there. Avni tells him Raj wanted to wish him. Suket asks if the Pooja ended at their place. Raj feels skeptical about the Pooja, then says that they do the Pooja in the day with the whole family. Suket says that now they are also his family and will come to the Pooja too. Raj feels worried about the Pooja, Suket says that he, him and Bhavna will go to the Pooja. Raj decides to celebrate Janamashtami after Suket informs him that his family will be coming to their house to celebrate the occasion.
Bhavna recalls that she had called Mr. and Mrs Kapoor. Akshat says she should leave as he and Arpita will attend them. They leave. Arpita asks why he told his mummy when he knew she had a meeting. She says all the Prasad is ready and will come back before their arrival. Akshat asks her to take his car, but she says she will go by taxi or rickshaw. They arrive at Raj’s house. Avni thinks if they have arranged about the Pooja well. They come inside, there were people gathered in Raj's house. Madhuri and Jashan welcome them and introduces them to the family. Raj takes their blessings. The Pundit asks to come there. Jashan asks Raj why he said that they celebrate the Pooja with the family? But Avni gets nervous when she realizes that Jashan and Raj have organized a Janamashtami puja only to impress her father and they actually have no idea regarding how this puja is conducted. She also get worried when she knows they are just his neighbours. Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor says that they are in a hurry. They asks about Arpita why she arrives in the rickshaw. She meets them, and says she will get the Prasad. Mr. Kapoor asks what is the need for her work. They ask why she uses rickshaw. She says she reach home earlier this way. Akshat says she just work for time pass, and there is no earning. They leave. Meanwhile, Arpita and Akshat continue to face problems as Akshat does not support his wife's efforts as a jewellery designer. Arpita then asks if he respect her for taking care of household and her work. Her work is not time-pass. She says if he can’t respect her then his love is nothing. And she will travel by car only when she will buy it herself. On the other hand, they do the Pooja at Madhuri's house, a lady asks to sing the Shlok but Suket says that Madhuri should do it as she is the daughter of the house. Madhuri is worried. Raj supports Madhuri, Avni asks if she know the Shlok. Jashan comes from the stairs and shows Madhuri the Bhajan from the stairs. Raj watches Jashan and gives him thumb up. Pooja is dressed up in traditional dress. Raj thanks God for saving him. He prays there is no more troubles.
Savri Bua later goes to an old lady who happen to be Pooja's mother and asks if she is Pooja's mother, the girl she left at the orphanage. The lady takes Savri’s feet and says she is sorry she can’t earn for herself. Savri is pleased to locates Pooja's biological mother and she is please to finds out that she had left baby Pooja as she had no money to feed her. Savri Bua decides to pay her money and says that she is lucky that Pooja is her girl, she is a lottery ticket and promises her to give much money in return and asks her to do as told by her. Bhavna appreciates their celebrations. Suket also appreciates that they worked so hard for it. Avni asks if Madhuri know how to cook the Prasad. Raj says they bought it from the market. Madhuri says that she is not liking this at all. Later, the truth came out when Suketh decides to gift Raj and Madhuri some money for the wonderful puja, saying that as elder he want to give them some Naig (gift). He sees Raj’s worry and says he will begin with him. Raj refuses to take it as they are not worth it. He tells the truth to Suket and family that these people are their neighbours and not their Chacha ( uncle's ). Madhuri tells them she didn’t know the Shlok, Jashan also tells them that they had bought the Prasad from the market. Raj says that they have no experience of any Pooja. Avni says they are true to heart, and she know it all as her parents have taught her this. She adds that they will change all the traditions of the family. She tells Raj they want him to be as he is. She will bring the traditions here, and they must mix their craze into it and it will be balanced. Suket did not react to this when he learns that this puja by Raj's family was only to impress him. He agrees, and says they must celebrate their festival as they do. Avni brings children who head for the food. Suket smiles watching them. Suket says what can be better that celebrating it like this.
Avni gets Raj’s call, she asks if he didn’t sleep till yet. He says his AC is not working so he thought about talking to her so that he can relax and sleep. She says everything is going so well. She asks if he talk to his parents. He says he didn’t tell them about her and he wants them to get a surprise. She asks what if they don’t like her. He says they might not like her but they will love her. She asks about them. He tells her that they are the most chill people in the world. They are workaholics though, as they look after the work in Australia as well as here. Savri Bua, who have fills Pooja's mother head with lies about Madhuri brings Pooja's mother in front of Madhuri's house and makes her meet Pooja who seems to be having a good time with Madhuri. Pooja's mother feels that her daughter is happy with Madhuri but Savri Bua shows her a briefcase filled with money and asks her to do as she wants. Pooja’s promises Savri she will do whatever she will ask her to. Savri says this means her relationship to Pooja has come to an end. Suket tells someone about Avni’s engagement. Mr. Singhania comes to them; he says this is great that son and father are together again. He says that the other day he satisfied the investors but now the sunshine group of hotels is the leading one, it is run by Mr. Anjali and after her return from abroad they will place all the investment into their hotels. Meanwhile, Suket gets tensed when he finds out that most of his investors will now be shifting their investments to Mrs Anjali's company. Suket and Akshat discuss this and both are worried as to who this Anjali is. Suket tells Akshat to look after the investors and find Mrs. Anjali but to keep Raj out if this.
Raj happily comes to Avni, he says that meeting up has become so easy. She asks if he is wearing this for the party, so that she will find something matching. He says he isn’t going to party, as it is her friend’s birthday. Avni gets upset when Raj refuses to join her for her friend's party and argues that he doesn’t want to keep tied to her, and tells him to leave. He leaves. Arpita comes and asks if she have a fight with Raj. She asks if two people are tied to each other, is it not important for them to stay with each other. Arpita thinks about herself and Akshat. Akshat overhears this. Arpita says that at times their partner becomes selfish and she might get hurt if the partner doesn’t support her. Avni asks her if all is okay? She says yes, and asks when is she leaving. They watch Akshat, but he leaves. Arpita comes to her room, and says he will bring the tea. She says she didn’t mean this. He gets angry upon not finding the file, and torns her designs. She asks if her not designs important. He says it is like that. Suket comes home, and tells them about the Sunshine Hotels owners and the investors laying their investment into their projects. Avni says they will have to work hard to marry Avni well. Suket says he doesn’t understand what to do. Bhavna asks Avni why is she going upstairs again. She says she can't leave her dad worried. Suket comes to her and says he wants her to go to the party, as he works only for them.
Devika calls Avni and tells her she is outside her dad’s office. Avni says she is just coming. Devika sits in the car and says that Mrs. Anjali is here and her dad is worried about the meeting. Avni decides to meet Mrs Anjali herself and
tells her friend she is going to her dad’s office and will be there in the party. Avni says to reception that she is Avni Khandelwal and wants to meet Mrs. Anjali. The receptionist says that she is busy in the meeting but Avni tells her to tell Anjali her name. The receptionist calls her and tells her that she is busy. Avni gets angry and says she has been waiting for a long time, the receptionist receive a scold and tells Avni that she scolded her. Avni comes into the conference room she does not find her in her office as the peon says she left. She gets Raj’s call; he asks if she wants him here then he will come. She says he was right, she has her own life and will have to handle things for herself. Raj gets worried, Jashan comes to ask what happened. Raj tells him the problem. Jashan says he can never understand women. Jashan says Madhuri is calling to his dad, and called him. Downstairs, Madhuri tells Raj that their mom has already left for home. Raj and Madhuri get excited when they find out that their mother will soon be reaching Agra. They discuss that their mom must reach Jaipur any moment; she remains so busy that she never tell anyone about her flight timings.
Devika tells Avni to correct her mood; Avni meets her friend’s fiancé. Everyone asks about Raj, Avni says he said hi to them but couldn’t come. They say they heard about their love-story. They ask her about their story, but Avni asks to cut the cake. Avni participates in the events but misses Raj. Suket and Akshat were in study as they both hear about the investors threatening to leave their company, to join a new company. Suket says they should satisfy their investors. Akshat says he wants to give the highest profits to the investors. Suket says the coffee ended. Akshat calls Arpita, when she doesn’t listen he tells Akshat to bring it himself. Arpita feels dizzy as she comes out of the kitchen, Bhavna takes Arpita by hand but she feels nauseatic. In the room, Bhavna asks if she was feeling dizzy, and not well; and further asks if there is any good news. Akshat finds out that Arpita is pregnant and feels very happy as he thinks that Arpita is going to be a mother?
